Seated Transfer Boards
MedCo Technology Seated Transfer Boards give patients who can sit unsupported a smooth, controlled path from one surface to the next: bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to toilet, bedside commode, shower bench, and more without a manual lift-and-pivot from the caregiver.
We are proud to offer two versions. Our Standard Seated Transfer Board has a curved shape and a weight capacity of 550 lb (250 kg). Our 24″ Seated Transfer Board has squared ends, a variety of hand grips, and a weight capacity of 330 lb (150 kg). Manufactured and tested in the USA.
Durable Materials
High-density polymer, not wood
Both boards are built from high-density polymer that will not splinter or hold moisture, giving them superior cleaning and infection control properties compared to wooden products.
Skin Protection
Pair with Slide Sheets
Either board can be used with MedCo Technology Slide Sheets to protect delicate skin and wounds, and to make the transfer easier for the patient and the caregiver alike. Both boards are designed for use during seated transfers only.
Curved & Reversible
MedCo Technology Standard Seated Transfer Board
Our full-size board, curved to work around the obstacles a seated transfer actually has to clear, with a weight capacity of 550 lb (250 kg).
- The curve may face forward or backward as needed to transfer around obstacles such as wheelchair wheels
- Circular grip pads on the underside help the board hold its position during the transfer
