Sit to Stand Slings
The sit to stand transfer is where fall risk and caregiver strain intersect: the patient is only partially weight-bearing, the caregiver is close in, and there is little room for error. MedCo Technology Sit to Stand Slings are built for that moment. Body-contouring fabric with controlled stretch supports the torso and moves with the patient as they rise, while multiple attachment points let caregivers match the fit to the patient rather than the other way around. Available in Single Patient Disposable and Apex Reusable fabrics.

Single Patient, Disposable
Single Patient Slings
Our Single Patient Breathable Sit to Stand Slings carry features single patient products usually leave out. A body-contouring shape, controlled stretch, moisture wicking, and breathability give the patient a gentle, skin-focused surface for the length of their stay. Multiple attachment points offer positioning choices to meet the needs of each patient. Assigning a sling to one patient keeps it out of the laundry cycle entirely — a straightforward fit for isolation precautions and short-stay units.

Apex Slings
Apex is our highest-performing sling fabric. Ultra-thin padded mesh is breathable and wicks excess moisture away from the patient’s skin. Apex’s controlled elasticity adjusts to body contours to protect skin through the rise and the descent. Multiple attachment points offer positioning choices to meet the needs of each patient.
