Full Body Repositioning Slings
MedCo Technology Full Body Repositioning Slings are built for the tasks that put caregivers most at risk: boosting, turning, and repositioning patients in bed, and recovering a patient from the floor after a fall. Our Single Patient Disposable, Advantage Reusable, and Apex Reusable slings feature straps with multiple loop attachment points, transferring the biomechanical load of the mobilization from your staff to a range of hook and loop lift devices.
With positioning options from seated to fully supine, our Full Body Repositioning Slings are designed for high-acuity care areas and for patients with compromised skin who require frequent mobilization. In bed, they are designed to be left in place under the patient and may be used with specialty wound care, low air loss, or bariatric mattresses. Used directly on the support surface, the sling becomes the patient interface — which is why the fabric is engineered for breathability, moisture management, and low shear.

After a Fall
Floor recovery without the manual lift
A patient on the floor is one of the highest-risk situations a care team encounters. Without the right equipment, recovery means several staff lifting from ground level — the worst posture in patient handling, and an uncontrolled movement for a patient who may already be injured.
Floor recovery is an approved use for MedCo Technology Full Body Repositioning Slings in all three fabrics. Once the sling is in position, the multiple loop attachment points let the lift raise the patient in a supported position. The equipment carries the load, and the patient is moved once, under control, rather than lifted, shifted, and set down again.
Our Full Body Repositioning Slings attach to a range of hook and loop lift devices, including the MedCo Technology Gantry portable ceiling lift, permanent ceiling track systems, and portable floor lifts.

Single Patient Full Body Repositioning Slings
Our Single Patient Full Body Repositioning Slings bring capabilities rarely associated with single patient products: body-contouring controlled elasticity, advanced moisture-wicking, and breathability complemented by a gentle, skin-focused texture. They are designed to stay under the patient until the patient is discharged or the sling becomes soiled — delivering reusable-grade skin protection with no laundry loop to manage.

Advantage, Reusable
Advantage Full Body Repositioning Slings
Advantage fabric carries the same skin-focused engineering as our Single Patient sling, processed to withstand the demanding cleaning and disinfecting requirements of acute care laundering. Like all MedCo Technology reusable fabric products, Advantage Full Body Repositioning Slings are built to withstand a minimum of 200 standard washes — keeping cost per use low without degrading the fabric at the point where it meets the patient’s skin. They are designed to remain under the patient until soiled.

Apex Full Body Repositioning Slings
MedCo Technology Apex Repositioning Slings are our highest-specification reusable sling, built for patients whose skin can least tolerate compromise. Constructed of hypoallergenic, ultra-thin padded mesh, they are engineered for maximum breathability and draw excess moisture away from the skin, managing the microclimate factors clinicians track in pressure injury prevention. Designed to remain under the patient until soiled, Apex slings share the same minimum of 200 standard washes as the rest of our reusable line.
